Matchday share cards, Spotlight and the pre-game sheet

After the whistle, the squad wants a story — not a blurry whiteboard photo. Before tip, coaches need one place for five, focus play and opponent notes.

Matchday used to end with a paper scoresheet and a group-chat photo of the whiteboard. The Player of the Game lived in someone’s memory. The starting five lived on a sticky note.

That is not how modern squads share a result — and it is not how coaches prepare under tip-off pressure.

The provoke: culture dies when the story is messy

Players will post something. If the club does not give them a clean, branded card, they invent one — or nothing gets posted and the season feels quieter than it was. Same for lineup: if the five and focus play are scattered across chats, warm-up becomes admin.

What to teach: cards, Spotlight, sheet

Live Game Stats (Pro) still feeds the box and season numbers. Share cards and Spotlight turn that work into something the squad can actually send.

How Run5 solves it: matchday prep and after-game culture sit next to scoring — not in Canva at midnight. See Live scoring, Score live without a paper sheet, and coach awards for in-app recognition.
